Wagah or Wahga is a village and union council located in the Wahga Zone of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The town is famous for the Wagah border ceremony and also serves as a goods transit terminal and a railway station between Pakistan and India.

Chandigarh – Amritsar (Indo-Pak Wagah Border) – Chandigarh

Sightseeing (JallianwalaBagh, Golden temple, Heritaeg Walk around Golden Temple, Indo-Pak Wagah Border). Early morning proceed for Amritsar (4 hrs. (225 km). Arrive Amritsar by 11am and visit JallianwalaBagh. The JallianwalaBagh Massacre, also known as the Amritsar Massacre was a massacre that happened in Amritsar, in 1919. It is named after the JallianwalaBagh (Garden) in the northern Indian city of Amritsar. On April 13, 1919, British, Indian Army soldiers started shooting at an unarmed gathering of men, women and children. The person in charge was Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer, the military commander of Amritsar. The shooting lasted about ten minutes. According to official British Raj sources, 379 people were killed. It will take around half. Then visit Most Famous place of Sikhs Golden Temple. The Golden temple is the holiest shrine of Sikhs. It was built in late 16th century by Guru Arjan, and a copy of the Sikh scripture was placed inside the temple in 1604. Its sanctum walls were covered in marble and the dome was decorated with gold foil by Ranjit Singh in the 19th century. More than 100,000 people visit every year. It will take around 3 hrs. Have lunch or Langar at Gurudwara and then proceed to Wagha Border. Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. The Beating Retreat Ceremony starts at 4:15 PM in winter and 5:15 PM in summer. It lasts for about 45 minutes. Later return back to Chandigarh.
